Senior Center - Florence AZ

The Senior Center in Florence AZ has a one hundred year old Howard Grand Piano that has sat idle for the past few years due to unstable legs, and needing maintenance and tuning. We tuned, deep cleaned, sanded the hammers, lubricated and adjusted the action, stabilized the legs, and replaced the old brass casters with new, larger polyurethane wheels.

Pinal County Historical Museum

July 2025

The Pinal County Historical Museum proudly showcases a magnificent Decker Brothers Square Grand Piano from 1884. Crafted in New York, it sailed around Cape Horn to Los Angeles, where it was purchased as a wedding gift for Emma Clarke from husband, William Clarke, one of the earliest pioneer families in Florence. It was then transported by rail and oxcart to Florence, AZ. We deep cleaned, tuned and adjusted the action, reviving its beauty and sound. This masterpiece stands as a museum highlight as one of the nicest Square Grand Pianos remaining from that era.
